Saya terhanyut naik Perahu Kertas

Tentu, konflik tentang mengikuti kata hati sering dialami orang kebanyakan.

Real Clothes

in dramas
This is the time for Japanese Drama is back on the list.
I haven’t really been hooked up by any Japanese drama again. One of the reason is the titles. Most of Japanese drama is in Japanese and is not translated as what Korean drama is. It makes hard to tell what the drama is about. However, by accident, I fortunately have found a great piece from the Cherry Blossom Country.
Real Clothes is a story about a girl that was not into fashion at all. Never had an attention on fashion or style. However, she is transferred to the woman’s clothing department. Her supervisor is slowly changing her personality in fashion, style, and vision about the world. Fashion is not only about expensive clothes. Fashion is not only about wearing designer’s brands, but fashion is about identity and one of the roots of happiness…
By watching this drama, your eyes will be satisfied with a lot of good stuff, even though it was out in 2009. and of course, get a new perspective of clothes it self. What is the Real Clothes?
“Clothes underpin the woman’s friendship They express individuality. They give encouragement to working women. They give the courage to move forward. They show a trueself of oneself. And what is most magical about clothes is that one will become fond of oneself. The world might not change because of fashion but by one blouse… one dress…. or one pair of high heels… one woman’s life is changed” – Miki San

The Most Important Project – Project Pop

“Siapa tidak mengakui perbedaan,
tidak pernah diajari di skolahan,
semua orang macam-macam diciptakan,
Dimulai dari Persatuan Indonesia: Dangdut is the music of my country, Beda Sama Kamu, Indovers, Negeri Impian.
Pop, Dangdut, Raggae, Jazz, Rock, Metal, Dugem, Disco, 70an, … ahh….
Through their songs, they create the most Important Project – a project to let you all know that life is not just a complicated thing, it can be simplified by paying more attention to simpler things… sederhana namun tepat sasaran…

Under the Tree

in movies
Under the Tree, sebuah lukisan kehidupan oleh Garin Nugroho membuat saya tidak sia-sia menunggu.
Reaksi 1: HORE!! mas Garin bikin film lagi… bagus tuh filmnya
Reaksi 2: Ogah… beraaaat..
Under the Tree itu adalah lukisan

in actors
Method acting is an acting technique which we usually watch actors do nowadays – an actor/actress become somebody else, in this case the character.
Acting was not like that back then. It was more like a theatrical act. Thanks to Marlon Brando, now we can enjoy the more realistic characters.
It’s undeniable that there are many talented actors out there making a better movie, getting countless awards, extremely handsome; however, just a few that is deserved to be called a real actor. Kim Myung Min is one of those few actors. He is deserved to be called “Korean Marlon Brando”
What funny thing is I haven’t noticed that I’ve watched him Twice. I didn’t think that it was the same person. hahahahaha. He was totally different from each movie that he has played. Not just his characters, but also his appearance. He could be very cool as a FBI, or annoying middle age man as a conductor, or a Lou Gehrig’s patient who made him losing 20 kilos. He would do anything to make the character alive
.
His journey on becoming an actor was not smooth at all.
He can’t be categorized as an actor that can rely on his look besides the acting ability. Thus, his path in the showbiz world was a hardworking. He started his career by greeting the PD (production manager) every morning at their stalls due to showing his existence. Then, he got a role by just show as a crowd, one line role, two lines, and then support actor. His passion about being actor triggered him to ask to himself “Until when I play the minor roles?” Finally the time came, he got his first role as the lead actor in a small drama. He was thrilled and promised to himself to do the best. He practiced his lines and did other preparations for the best. He even got a chance to chose his on clothings. Nevertheless, when he arrived at the set, there’s another actor replaced him, he’s told that the role was not him. When he talked about this, tears was almost shed. He said “if they just let me know first….”
Those hard working felt nothing. In the end, he wanted to give up and leave the country. Before his leaving, he got another leading role in a historical drama. The title of drama “The Immortal Lee Soon Shin.” He took it as he wanted to leave the country with thing that can be remembered. Therefore, he worked even harder for this drama. In 2005, after he finished the drama and ready to leave the country, he got his first award ever as the best leading actor. because of his role as General Lee Soon Shin.
After that, he still got rejected, felt dejected, played an unseccessfull movie. Just, the efforts that he put for years paid off. He got another awards as the best leading actor in 2007 for drama “White Tower”, in 2008 for drama “Beethoven Virus”, and for 2009 he got more awards for his latest movie “Closer to Heaven.”
